Support for businesses facing customs tariffs
In light of the economic instability caused by the threat of tariffs imposed by the United States on Canadian products, PME MTL is offering personalized support to Montréal businesses and the opportunity to work with its partners to provide solutions adapted to your specific context.

As announced by Ville de Montréal in April 2025, measures aimed at reinforcing the resilience of SMEs have been introduced, most notably in terms of helping to diversify markets and providing support for innovation.
The PME MTL fund, which features flexible eligibility criteria, provides those businesses that have experienced the worst impact with access to financial resources. At the same time, a six-month moratorium on repaying capital and interest has been implemented for businesses in the portfolio that have been affected by these measures. A one-time extension of repayment periods up to 84 months may also be available.
Do not allow tariffs to affect the growth of your business – act now! To find out how we can help you, contact your service hub or consult our other available programs and resources.
