Census

In 2019, the City of Montréal launched its first phase of surveying Montréal businesses in order to better understand their needs and respond effectively.

PME MTL has been mandated by the Economic Development Department to deploy census teams in the field in 2020-2021.

In 2022, the City of Montréal will begin its third phase of the census, with an update of the data released in 2021.

This detailed information, among other things, enable us to measure the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Montréal business community and to improve the services offered.

This important exercise asks us to know the individual and common needs of Montréal businesses. The information will be treated confidentially and will not be communicated to any third party.
