Revitalisation Saint Pierre

PME MTL Ouest-de-l'Île is proud to remit a grant of $30,000 from the Fonds de développement de l’économie sociale (FDÉS) to Revitalisation Saint Pierre for their innovative project Marché Saint Pierre.

Established in 2010, Marché Saint-Pierre is one of the most innovative projects not only for its structure but for the objectives it pursues. Its mission is to offer, the citizens of the Saint-Pierre neighbourhood, geographically as well as financially, fresh produce in addition to encouraging healthy eating habits due to the quality of its products. This innovative project is supported by local stakeholders and all levels of government, which demonstrates the importance given to its success.

These funds will help the organization increase food access; generate new sources of income; reinforce the Marché`s neighbourhood project as a social, as well as an economic plan.

Le Club Dôme

PME MTL Ouest-de-l'Île is proud to have awarded a loan of $150,000 from the PME MTL fund to Le Club Dôme, a company situated in Kirkland.

Established on July 1st, 2016, Le Club Dôme is a multi-sports complex that offers various sports activities for all ages. It also features a Restaurant Pub that is open daily for lunch & dinner.

UBIOS inc.

PME MTL Ouest-de-l'Île is proud to have awarded a loan of $250,000 from the PME MTL fund and $100,000 from the Fonds local de solidarité Montréal to UBIOS inc., a company located in Lachine.

UBIOS is the first business to have successfully launched the first public equity crowdfunding campaign in North America, is one of the first cohorts of InnoCité MTL and is the winner of the 2015 Québec Entrepreneurship Contest, Laval region, in the Technological & Technical Innovation category.

Established in July 2015, UBIOS is the first to offer a water damage prevention solution conceived and developed for condos in order to reduce both the impact and the occurrence of water-related claims. Using IoT, motion detection and analytics in the cloud, their solution prevents water damage, saves energy and insurance. Its system detects the absence of the occupants and closes the main water valve, then re-opens it once the occupants return.

This financial aid served as working capital for the development of a pilot project in Mont-Tremblant.

Action Jeunesse de l'Ouest-de-l'Île (AJOI)

PME MTL Ouest-de-l'Île is proud to remit a grant of $25,000 from the Social Economy fund to Action Jeunesse de l’Ouest-de-l'Île (AJOI).

These funds will go towards the preparatory phase of the project AJOI Hébergement (AJOIH).
A first in the Ouest-de-l'Île, AJOIH will provide a temporary emergency shelter (72 hours) for young adults from 17 to 30 years old facing a crisis situation.

AJOI, a social services organization, establishes and maintains street worker intervention services for youth aged 12 to 25 years old on the Ouest-de-l'Île. AJOI aims to improve the quality of life of young people and break the denial of poverty in the Ouest-de-l'Île by offering these services: workshops, help with job search, family mediation, housing research, street work/youth work, crisis intervention, prostitution, runaways, mental health and others.

Les Produits Abri Design Cover Inc.

PME MTL Ouest-de-l'Île is proud to have awarded a loan of $75,000 from the PME MTL fund and a subsidy of $10,000 from the Fonds Jeunes Entreprises (JE) to Les Produits Abri Design Cover Inc., a company situated in Dorval.

The PME MTL loan also permitted the company receive additional help from Investissement Québec of $75,000.

Founded in November 2016, Les Produits Abri Design Cover Inc is a manufacturer of pool and patio covers.

The financial aid received by the company will help in the establishment of a manufacturing plant and the marketing of their products.

Mogile Technologies Inc.

PME MTL Ouest-de-l'Île is proud to have awarded a loan of $75,000 from the PME MTL fund and a subsidy of $15,000 from the Fonds Jeunes Entreprises (JE) to Mogile Technologies Inc., a company situated in Kirkland.

Founded in November 2013, Mogile Technologies is an IT company that mainly concentrates on the development and marketing of new software solutions for industry and community of electric cars users thanks to their exclusive platform, ChargeHub™. What is particular about this company is that it developed an innovative technological platform catering to the needs of electric car users, an important sector for the future.

The financial aid received by Mogile Technologies will support and accelerate the marketing activities of the company.
