PME MTL Ouest-de-l'Île awards a loan of $200,000 to ARA Robotics Inc.

PME MTL Ouest-de-l'Île has granted a loan of $200,000 from the Fonds PME MTL/Fonds locaux de solidarité Montréal (FLS Montréal) and a subsidy of $15,000 from the Fonds Jeunes Entreprises (JE) to ARA Robotics Inc., a Québec business based in Dorval.

Founded in September 2014, ARA Robotics specializes in the control and air navigation of drones. At the moment, it offers a drone control system, the autopilot SKYMATE, that is dedicated specifically to drones in the commercial and civil sectors.

The financing awarded by PME MTL Ouest-de-l'Île will allow ARA Robotics to accelerate its commercialization activities, to increase its product range and to extend its technological platform.
