Description
Prior to joining PME MTL as an Industrial Commissioner, George began his career at Standard Life Investments as a buy-side Equity Analyst before embarking on a 20-year career as a Co-Founder of several start-ups in North America. From 2002 to 2012 George was Co-Founder, COO and a board member at Enomaly, which developed one of the first IAAS marketplace platforms for buying and selling excess computing capacity until its acquisition by Virtustream, Inc. in 2012. In 2013, George and his wife created Reese and Luke, Inc, a brand of organic baby skin care products, distributed across Canada available at retail outlets, including Bed Bath & Beyond/Buy Buy Baby, Wholefoods, TJX Canada/Winners, Snuggle Bugz and various online platforms.
Joining PME MTL has provided George with a chance towards uniquely helping Montréal-based tech start-ups. Whether his time is spent refining a founder’s business ideas and strategies into a viable business plan or pitching a business recommendation to an investment committee he finds it rewarding to learn, grow and work with a talented group of caring managers and clients.
George holds an MBA from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business, and a bachelor's degree in Economics from Union College in Schenectady, N.Y.
I am constantly inspired by entrepreneurs' vision and motivation to find success regardless of every obstacle.
