Jean Archambault MBA, P.Eng., is the Assistant Director since 2021. Prior to this, Mr. Archambault was Industrial Commissioner at PME MTL Ouest-de-l'Île since 2010. During this period of time, he has helped many companies in their start-up, financing and operation. Previously, he was a consultant for many companies (2007-2010), founder, president and CEO of Avance Pharma/Phytobiotech Inc. (1997-2005) and President and Chief Operating Officer of MHB (2006-2007). Before Avance, Mr. Archambault was professor of chemical engineering at Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières and Head of the Cell Culture Group at the Biotechnology Research Institute of Montréal. Prior to these positions, Mr. Archambault has held various engineering and management positions in the industry. He holds B.A.Sc. and M.A.Sc. degrees from École Polytechnique of Montréal and MBA and PhD degrees from McGill University .
