PME MTL Centre-Ouest 19 December 2025
The Performance 2025 award was presented to PME MTL Centre-Ouest on Thursday, December 4, in Quebec City, during the MRC Assembly organized by the Quebec Federation of Municipalities (FQM). Awarded by the Fonds locaux de solidarité (FLS) FTQ, this distinction recognizes the managing organization that has achieved the best results over five years, based on criteria related to project financing, performance, and use of available funds.
PME MTL Centre-Ouest distinguished itself in particular through 136 supported investment projects, exemplary use of available funds, and a positive net return between 2020 and 2024.
The three finalists for this edition were the Antoine-Labelle RCM, the Maskinongé RCM, and PME MTL Centre-Ouest.
Recognition for work in the field
Created in 2016, the Performance Award recognizes effective FLS management and its impact on local entrepreneurial dynamism. Qualifying FLSs must exceed the average number of files financed by the entire network for at least three of the five years evaluated, before being analyzed according to financial and operational performance indicators.
Éric Desaulniers, Executive Director of Fonds locaux de solidarité FTQ, highlights the work accomplished: "This recognition is the result of an approach focused on proximity and in-depth knowledge of the needs of businesses in Montreal's Centre-Ouest district. Thanks to personalized support, PME MTL Centre-Ouest has been able to maximize the impact of the FLS in the region by promoting the maintenance and creation of quality jobs and the sustainable development of local businesses."
Marc-André Perron, Executive Director of PME MTL Centre-Ouest, emphasizes the importance of teamwork: “This recognition reflects our team's ongoing commitment to local entrepreneurs. The FLS is a major lever for supporting growth and investment. We are proud of how far we have come and of this fund's contribution to the economic vitality of our business community.”
