We are proud to present our 2022 annual report. Once again this year, our team rose to the occasion to help local entrepreneurs get through the turbulence caused by the pandemic.
Over the past year, nearly 1,000 businesses benefited from the guidance and support of our team. We would like to thank all the members of our team, our directors and our investment committee members for their invaluable contribution and their commitment.

PME MTL Centre-Ouest is one of the six service hubs of PME MTL, Montréal’s business support network whose mission is to anticipate and support the socioeconomic development of our communities in an integrated, concerted and sustainable manner.

Disctrict e-commerce | $100,000 in prizes and grants
Building on its success, the District e-commerce competition held its second edition in 2022. PME MTL Centre-Ouest and SCD District Central have joined forces with a number of major partners: Desjardins, Cascades, Shopify, Postes Canada, Heyday et ClickSpace.

Gouin Ouest | $45,000 shared by five companies
For this latest edition of the contest, the rules were changed to respond to the reality of businesses already established on the commercial artery. Accordingly, merchants were able to submit projects to improve or diversify their service offers.

Techpreneur contest
The TechPreneur contest was organized by PME MTL Centre-Ouest in collaboration with Desjardins, the Centre d’expertise industrielle de Montréal (CEI MTL) and the Réseau Mentorat Montréal.
It aims to encourage and support the technology leaders of tomorrow and is for young companies that design or develop technology solutions or services and wish to set up shop in Technoparc Montréal.
Activities and events
Local manufacturers events: How to finance your technology projects?
CEI MTL, in collaboration with PME MTL, BDC, Investissement Québec and Desjardins Entreprises, organized an event to help manufacturers navigate the various financing programs and services available.
Networking event
For the first time since 2019, PME MTL Centre-Ouest invited its partners and clients to a networking evening at Silo Brasserie. Nearly 150 people responded to our invitation. An opportunity to discuss our past and future collaborations, (re)connect with local entrepreneurs, network in good company and, above all, discover local businesses.
Job placement service
PME MTL Centre-Ouest, in partnership with Emploi-Québec, offers a free support service for job seekers, putting them in contact with companies looking for new talent. To this end, we help businesses, free of charge, in their recruitment efforts by finding and introducing them to the best available talent.
