PME MTL Centre-Ouest and the Association des gens d’affaires de Gouin Ouest have decided to change the terms and conditions of the contest for Gouin Ouest businesses.
Part of the PRAM-Artère en chantier municipal program, the entrepreneurial contest is now changing its focus. While the last edition of the contest sought to attract new businesses, this year’s contest is in the form of a call for projects, aimed exclusively at existing businesses, to revitalize the commercial artery between De Serres Street (to the east) and Laurentien Boulevard (to the west).
PME MTL Centre-Ouest and the Association des gens d’affaires de Gouin Ouest have therefore decided to allow already established businesses to benefit from this contest. This new formula responds to a new reality and will support these merchants in what is now a difficult context.
As part of the contest, PME MTL Centre-Ouest will distribute $45,000 in grants to support Gouin Ouest merchants.
Registration period
You must register for the contest by no later than February 28, 2022.
Key dates
- February 28, 2022: End of the registration period
- March: Selection of the winners by the contest committee
- April to June: Implementation of projects and awarding of the grants
- July 31, 2022: Deadline to disburse the funds
Grants offered
$45,000 in grants will be distributed to the winning entrepreneurs, depending on the size and relevance of their project. The amount of the grants will vary according to the number of applications received.
PME MTL Centre-Ouest is committed supporting all applicants. Specific support will be given to the winners.
Eligibility conditions
- Have premises on Gouin Ouest, between De Serres Street and Laurentien Boulevard.
- Significantly transform the company's product and service offering.
- Use the entire grant before July 31, 2022.
- Submit all required documents before the contest deadline, no later than February 28, 2022.
Required documents
- A summary of the project, including a description and an estimate of the costs.
- The most up-to-date financial statements.
- An up-to-date rental lease.
Grant conditions
When the winners are announced, an agreement will be signed between the promoter and PME MTL Centre-Ouest to confirm the awarding of each grant.
