This program aims to enhance the appearance and attractiveness of Lajeunesse Street by encouraging merchants to beautify their storefronts.
In collaboration with the Association commerciale et citoyenne Youville (ACCY), PME MTL Centre-Ouest is launching a new grant program to improve storefronts on Lajeunesse Street.
This program aims to enhance the appearance and attractiveness of Lajeunesse Street by encouraging merchants to beautify their storefronts. By focusing on the visual and sustainable quality of the improvements, this initiative contributes to improving the quality of life of residents and revitalizing this rapidly growing area.
Grant and support offered
A subsidy covering up to 80% of the total costs (maximum $5,000 per project) is available for façade improvements. You will also receive personalized support.
For what kind of work?
- Sign: new sign or refurbishment of existing sign.
- Exterior windows: repair, replacement, or addition of structural and aesthetic elements (e.g., lighting, finishing materials).
Eligibility criteria
- The project must be located on Lajeunesse Street.
- The project must contribute to the overall beautification of the street, with a view to creating a harmonious whole.
- You must contribute 20% of the total costs.
Key dates:
- Application deadline: June 15, 2025 (at this stage, you must complete the form; the complete application can be submitted at a later date)
- Date by which the work must be completed: August 31, 2025
Required documentation
To be eligible for the grant, your application must include:
- Financial statements for the last two years (prepared by an accountant);
- A projected budget for the next two years, including: cash flow statement, balance sheet, and income statement;
- A valid occupancy permit;
- A copy of the signed lease for premises in the Youville area, valid for at least two years after the financing agreement is signed.
- Grants will be awarded in the order in which applications are received and until the available funds are exhausted.
