Description
Holder of a Master's degree in food science and technology, César worked for 15 years on the development of businesses and projects aimed at improving the diet of populations in different countries. Since arriving in Montréal, he contributed to the development of a food system in Montréal North, then developed public and solidarity markets in the borough of Ahuntsic-Cartierville. He also took part in the launch of the Centrale agricole and in the creation of the Mutuelle d'approvisionnement des marchés solidaires de Montréal.
Passionate about local development issues, I see in the crisis we have just gone through an opportunity to redefine the notion of development by integrating into it, on an equal footing, the economic, social and environmental dimensions.
