George Bazos
Director, Financing
Before joining PME MTL as an Industrial Commissioner, George began his career as an Equity Analyst at Standard Life Investments before embarking on a 20-year entrepreneurial journey as the co-founder of several start-ups across North America.
From 2002 to 2012, George was Co-Founder, Chief Operating Officer, and a member of the Board of Directors of Enomaly, a company that developed one of the first Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) marketplace platforms for buying and selling excess computing capacity. The company was acquired by Virtustream, Inc. in 2012.
In 2013, George and his wife founded Reese and Luke, Inc., an organic baby skincare brand sold across Canada through retailers including Bed Bath & Beyond/Buy Buy Baby, Whole Foods, TJX Canada/Winners, Snuggle Bugz, and various online platforms.
At PME MTL, George has the opportunity to help innovative businesses turn their ideas into successful ventures. Whether he's refining a founder's vision into a viable business plan or presenting investment recommendations to a financing committee, he enjoys collaborating with talented entrepreneurs and colleagues while helping businesses achieve their growth potential.
George holds an MBA from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver and a bachelor's degree in Economics from Union College in Schenectady, New York.
I am continually inspired by the vision, determination, and resilience of entrepreneurs who pursue success despite the challenges they face.
