Terry Pampena
Social Economy Commissioner
As Social Economy Commissioner at PME MTL Ouest-de-l'Île, Terry supports non-profit organizations and collective enterprises at every stage of their development—from idea generation and start-up to consolidation and growth. She provides guidance on business planning, revenue models, access to financing, governance, and human resources, always with the goal of strengthening organizations' social impact and long-term sustainability.
With several years of experience in the community sector, particularly in mental health, as well as firsthand experience as a retail entrepreneur, Terry has a deep understanding of the realities faced by both non-profit organizations and businesses. She has also worked in employment services and local economic development, enabling her to connect community needs with public programs and regional partners.
Actively involved in Montreal's West Island community, Terry has served on the board of directors of a social economy enterprise, including as Board Chair. This governance experience allows her to effectively support boards of directors and executive leaders as they navigate strategic planning, decision-making, and organizational transformation.
