Businesses in the Centre-Ouest: Take on the Green Challenge.

Propose concrete actions to improve your practices and actively contribute to the socio-ecological transition of your business and your neighborhood.

In total, over $30,000 is available to support participating businesses.

Two tracks to take action:

This year, the program offers two complementary tracks.

A single business can participate in both.

Impact Actions Track

In partnership with Desjardins

A track for businesses that want to take concrete steps within their operations.

• Cohort of 20 selected businesses
• Implementation of one transformative action or several concrete actions
• $1,000 grant per business upon completion of the action

Reduction and Reuse Track

In partnership with Bopaq, powered by Tricentris, La Coop

A program for businesses looking to reduce their impact related to packaging and materials.

• Access to 200 reusable packaging items and a subscription (valued at $965)
• Support to adapt your practices

A $2,000 prize will also be awarded to the business that has generated the greatest impact among all participants.

Examples of Eligible Actions

• Waste reduction, strategy for selling imperfect products, reuse
• Local sourcing, procurement policy
• Improvements to facilities and energy efficiency
• Social or community initiatives

You are free to propose your own challenges, which will be reviewed by our team.

How It Works

• Register for the program using the registration form by the deadline of July 15, 2026
• Companies will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis (limited spots available) and based on the relevance of their projects.
• Implementation of initiatives during the summer of 2026
• Monitoring and evaluation: fall 2026
• Closing event in the fall of 2026, presentation of the Bopaq Award and Desjardins grants.

Eligibility

• Retail stores with a physical storefront or restaurants registered in the Quebec Business Register (excluding franchises);
• Located in the Centre-Ouest region (Ahuntsic-Cartierville, Saint-Laurent, Ville de Mont-Royal, Hampstead, Côte-Saint-Luc, Montréal-Ouest);
• Willingness to implement concrete actions;
• Commitment to participate in project follow-up.
